Meta Ads Onboarding

How to give our Agency Access to Your Meta Ad Account

Before you proceed, please ensure you have set up the following items
 
  • Business Suite. You can set this up via business.facebook.com
  • Within your Business Suite please check the following assets are set up and connected to your Meta Business Suite. Note if they are not created, they will need to be created, or linked.
  • Ad Account
  • Instagram Account Linked
  • Business Facebook Page Linked
  • Tracking Pixel Created (we can help you with this)

Steps To Give Our Agency Access To Your Meta Ad Account:

Step 1: Sign in

Step 2: Prepare Assets

  • Ensure that all necessary assets like Instagram accounts, Facebook pages, and pixels are already set up and linked to your ad account.

Step 3: Open Business Settings

  • Go to Facebook Ads Manager and click on the drop-down menu. Select Business Settings.

Step 4: Navigate to Partners

  • In the left-hand menu under People, click on Partners.

Step 5: Add a Partner

  • In the top-right corner, click the Add button. From the options, select Give a Partner Access to Your Assets.

Step 6: Enter Online Projects Business ID

  • Our Online Projects ID number – 2137015663269048. Please not do NOT use the number in the video.

Step 7: Select and Share Assets

  • After entering the business ID, click Share Assets.
    • Choose the specific assets (e.g., Instagram accounts, Facebook pages, pixel) that you want to give the agency access to.
    • Make sure to select Full Control for each asset.

Step 8: Save Changes

  • Once you have selected the relevant assets and provided access, click Save Changes on the bottom right.

Step 9: Review Assets

  • Go through the asset list and confirm that all relevant assets (like ad accounts, pages, and pixels) have been shared with our agency. Ensure everything is correct before closing.

Step 10: Finalise

  • After everything is set, save the changes and confirm our agency has the appropriate access.

After completing these steps, the agency will have access to manage the selected assets in your Meta Ads Manager.
